SCENTSY PARTY!!!!!!! Greg's little sister Allison started selling Scentsy a few months ago and this Saturday March 28th, I'm having an open house for her. It is from 4-6 pm and if you are reading this blog, consider yourself invited!!!! They have just come out with some waaay cute things and besides you need an afternoon without the kids, dishes, laundry, errands, etc. Contact me for directions if you need them. TISSUE PAPER POM POMS

I had to decorate for the Relief Society Birthday dinner a couple of weeks ago and have been wanting to share these fun decorations I found ever since. If any of you have ever had to do a church project you know you never get much of a budget. While searching around on the internet for cheap decorations I came across these darling pom pom balls!!! They are made out of tissue paper and they were so easy to make!! They would be so cute for a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party, holiday, or even in a kids bedroom. DISNEY ON ICE

Last weekend we took Payton to Disney on Ice in Salt Lake and she loved it. She has been sooo excited from the day we received her "seat tickets" in the mail. She was on the edge of her chair the entire time!! I do have one complaint about those things however, the expensive souveniers!!!!! They walk up and down the aisles trying to sell all the trinket junk during the intermission of the show and if you think you're getting out of there without one, you're wrong!! From the time Payton saw the Little Mermaid glow up wand it was over! I tried to use the "I don't think I have enough money" trick, but Payton is too smart for that one. "Just use your debit card mom!" So $18 later we are out of the building with the happiest little 4 year old on earth!! It was worth it though, just look at how pleased she is!!!!

Fun Filled February

OK people, where did the time go???? Can you believe we are already starting the 2nd week of March?? 2009 is flying by. Here is a look at what we've been up to the past month.

SUPERBOWL

We enjoyed a Superbowl Party at our house with Greg's friends and their wives. We ate yummy fajitas compliments of Vic and Mel along with the typical Superbowl junk food. It was fun catching up with everyone and I'm so mad at myself for not taking any pictures!!!

VALENTINE'S DAY
Payton was so excited for Valentine's Day!! She loved her balloons and delivering treats. We spent most of the day eating!! We had heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, munched on yummy treats we made for friends and family and went to dinner that night.

JAZZ GAME AND DISCOVERY GATEWAY

Greg got box seats to the Celtics/Jazz game thanks to Vic!! We decided to make a weekend out of it and take the kids to Discovery Gateway. It was so much fun! Payton had a blast playing on all of the fun toys, anchoring the evening news, reporting the weather on the giant green screen, and flying in the life flight helicopter.

Don't worry girls, I didn't go to Utah without visiting TaiPan!! I love that store! I also took my first trip to IKEA. They have such fun stuff!!

DECORATING

We have been in our house for almost 3 months! I can't believe it. It is still a work in progress but it is coming along. I have been love love loving all the decorating that I've been able to do. I will be revealing rooms soon but here's a sneak peek of some of the finished product!!
